Join our Committee and Help Preserve Soudley Village Hall

Nestled in the heart of our picturesque rural village, Soudley Village Hall stands as a beloved community hub that has served locals for generations. From hosting social events to providing a space for groups and activities, the hall has played a vital role in bringing the village together. However, the continued success and upkeep of this cherished venue rely on the dedication of a committed group of Committee members – the custodians of Soudley Village Hall.

Who Are the Custodians?

The Committee is made up of members of the community who work together to manage and maintain the hall, ensuring that it remains a warm, welcoming space for all. As custodians of Soudley Village Hall, their responsibilities range from organising events and fundraising efforts to overseeing repairs and managing bookings.

Whether it’s planning a village fete, coordinating community projects, or simply keeping the hall in good working order, the Committee is essential in ensuring that the hall continues to be a vibrant centre of village life.

Why Get Involved?

By joining the Committee, you become an integral part of preserving a vital community asset. Volunteering offers an opportunity to:

  • Contribute to the upkeep and development of a historic village landmark.
  • Help organise a wide range of events and activities that bring the community together.
  • Work alongside friendly, like-minded individuals who share your passion for Soudley village.
  • Make a tangible difference to the social life of Soudley, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the hall as much as we do.

How Can You Help?

There are a variety of ways to get involved, whether you have a few hours to spare or can commit to a more regular role. We welcome all skills and talents – whether you’re interested in event management, fundraising, gardening, or general maintenance, there’s always something you can do to help.

The Committee meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 6.30pm to 9pm with a tea break in between, and new members are always welcome. If you’re keen to learn more about how you can support Soudley Village Hall, we’d love to hear from you.

Get In Touch

If you’re interested in becoming part of the Committee or simply want to find out more about what we do, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to welcoming you to the team and working together to continue making Soudley Village Hall the heart of our community.

Together, we can ensure that Soudley Village Hall remains a vibrant, welcoming space for years to come.
